An experimental wiki for IST students to explore and tell their story of the research process for their IB extended essay.


Weekly we will review and highlight important aspects of research in a variety of Sessions.

It may be helpful to take a look at some examples of Extended Essays.
  1. There are some samples found in the IB notebooks in the library.
  2. IB essays written by former students are listed in IST OPAC (extended essay--keyword search). Ask at circulation desk to see a copy in the library.
  3. The Concord Review is found in the periodical collection of the library. There are some fine examples of history extended essays.
  4. There are also samples from Concord Review online collection at http://www.tcr.org/tcr/essays.htm
  5. Access to 50 Excellent Extended Essays is on the server under Grade 11 Share/Extended essay examples
